Today I are mostly...
...finishing off the wallpapering, buying a slow cooker, playing guitar and drinking beer. The weather here is actually quite nice but I'm not going walking.
Weekend threads are OK, the small amount of responses to them shows just how many B3TAns only respond while they're at work. Slackers!

It must be nice to ne salaried to fuck about on here
Just got an acoustic and am teaching myself guitar. I'd love to play the bass and want to learn the fundamentals before I take up a mats's kind offer to borrow a bass and amp for as long as.I want.

I've just got a baritone acoustic
I'm getting my head around transposing all the songs I know. Makes my brain hurt!

Nice one. The acoustic I have is from freecycle bit bashed.around but it's al good for.me.
Not sure what the bass is yet but the amp is an old Marshall. Big fucker, if that's not being too technical.

Ah, the Marshall 'Big fucker'.
That's a classic, comes in the same category as the 'Fuck me, that's heavy' speaker system and the 'Fiddly bastard' mixing desk. I remember them well.
