Whenever I tell people that not only did I not like it but that it made no sense they claim I just didn't get it. But it definitely did not make sense.

It definitely does make sense.
So I shall have to call you a muppet.

If you buy it on DVD there is a version with all the scence in chronological order. It makes the film shit, and totally removes the point, but it will prove that it makes sense.
