I am mostly opposed to itThe idea of killing anyone is abhorrent.
But there are hundreds of prisoners for whom "redemption" is too naive/never going to happen. These people aren't ever going to be able to live in society without harming other people. And for the really bad ones, I might make an exception. Look at Ian Brady - how much has it cost to keep him alive, whe he doesn't even want to be here?!
They should just set them free somewhere like Bootle or Redcar.....

The Internet says it has cost £14,000,000 to keep Ian Brady alive so farA man who butchered small children and taped it.
