I'm all for a bit of hypocrisy.Well we need harsher sentencing then or punishments.

I am of the opinion that the law should be for protecting the public, not for exacting revenge.Lock them away for life if there's enough risk to the public, but there should always be room for rehabilitation.
Even if it's just giving a serial killer enough mental treatment to stop him from shanking fellow inmates.
