My "official" oneI left politely after buying a few post-dinner drinks for people as I'm pretty sure PhD students aren't totally comfotable getting cunted in front of the more senior staff.
Less of a problem with the unofficial one for my reseach group, though, they've mostly worked with me for years so don't really give a shit about being battered in front of me.
