god that's reminded me
as a small child, I dreamed that I could fly. it seemed so easy in the dream; just start running, but before your second leg hits the floor, just kick it up again, so you never touch the floor and keep going in the air.

it seemed foolproof. needless to say the reality when i excitedly went outside to try was one of tangled limbs and bruises.
