some of today was most humorous I found

(, Thu 13 Feb 2014, 19:27, 1 reply, 11 years ago)
I don't get chance to be involved in days
Maybe b3ta is evolving and I'm not.
(, Thu 13 Feb 2014, 19:31, Reply)
its just a bit of nonsense innit
Quite a few things have really made me laugh today, that hasnt happened for a while even In my relatively short time posting
(, Thu 13 Feb 2014, 19:38, Reply)
It's just all a bit literal these days
Cavy was the last poster who didn't take it seriously, and she seems to have gone now.
(, Thu 13 Feb 2014, 19:42, Reply)
How do you mean?

(, Thu 13 Feb 2014, 19:51, Reply)
I might be overly dismissive
I treasured O/T for what you might call freeform thinking - expressions of imagination beyond the restrictions of conventional thought and we had a talk about incredible podiums the other night.

At the moment, that is frowned upon.

Well, I join in with stuff just because I like messing around, but I do and did prefer it when it was a little less 'lets all swear and be horrible' which I'm as guilty of as anyone, you can take the piss in different ways I suppose
The things that make me laugh most are the silly, 'random' and daft stuff rather than the memes and repetition of tired old bollocks

my balls, your mouth

(, Thu 13 Feb 2014, 20:04, Reply)
It's a cli......no.

oh go on

(, Thu 13 Feb 2014, 20:09, Reply)
Well okay since you have managed to post 'alright' less than ten times today

(, Thu 13 Feb 2014, 20:13, Reply)
It wanders around - as above
For me it's a bit Jeremy Kyle and commercial radio at the moment.

What I dislike most is the NEWS THREADS. I don't care for people's opinions, I come here for amusement.

(, Thu 13 Feb 2014, 20:19, Reply)
You're going to get opinions whether you like it or not
This is an opinion.
(, Thu 13 Feb 2014, 20:22, Reply)
I just don't care for the 'serious discussion' that is generally, and in my OPINION, boring and uninformed.
All I want is to have a laugh, I'm a simple man
(, Thu 13 Feb 2014, 20:26, Reply)
You're too good for this place then

I have no time at all for:
Job chat
'Look at how much I earn' chat
Kids chat
Car chat
Ill informed opinion chat
BBC news links
(, Thu 13 Feb 2014, 20:30, Reply)
pretty much nothing then
yeah, same here
(, Thu 13 Feb 2014, 20:32, Reply)
I like light hearted comedy threads and gentle bullying

(, Thu 13 Feb 2014, 20:34, Reply)
I don't mind people talking about their lives etc, sometimes it's interesting, but the boasting is dull.
And there is a difference between some people who clearly say stuff for fun and to get a reaction, and other people who seem to want to look more important, intelligent, academic and successful than they probably are, but no one cares anyway,
(, Thu 13 Feb 2014, 20:33, Reply)
So - why do any of the above?

(, Thu 13 Feb 2014, 20:35, Reply)
Dunno. Getting a bit bored of b3ta probably.

(, Thu 13 Feb 2014, 20:37, Reply)
Find an amusing, engaging, literate and constructive alternative
Gaz me and I'll join you.

Night.
(, Thu 13 Feb 2014, 20:40, Reply)
it's got more neurotic affectation and meaningless boasting than Jeremy Kyle or commercial radio

(, Thu 13 Feb 2014, 20:28, Reply)
alright

(, Thu 13 Feb 2014, 20:30, Reply)

(, Thu 13 Feb 2014, 20:33, Reply)
I'm not sure if I meant Jeremy Kyle or Jeremy Vine
THANKS KEN
(, Thu 13 Feb 2014, 20:32, Reply)
now I'm not usually a violent persion, but I'd gladly kick several biros down Jeremy Vine's ear
the guy is such an appalling smug wanker that just the sound of his voice can make me a bit angry
(, Thu 13 Feb 2014, 20:41, Reply)
Listen to Sean Keavney on 6 in the morning
He does a regular pisstake - recent examples:-

"A girl got her hair caught in a train door - should all hair be banned on public transport?"

"Shelves - a thing of the past?"
