I had a superb weekend. Did me a great deal of good.
Apart from the massive cut on my left knee I gained from falling over.

(I may have tried a beverage or twenty by this point).

My mate Mark did a PhD there
We used to go down for 3-4 days on the piss there. Quality

Oxford has a lot of pubs, but The Fir Tree is the best of the lot.
1. Students tend not to go there.
2. They serve Stowford Press cider.

I cant remember the name of the one we always went in.
It was down a small alley near the round library, near that bridge thingy

Ceiling height was about 5' 10" which was fine for the first 4 pints, but then got a bit more dangerous as the night went on for me as I could only stand up properly between the rafters. My mate Sheila, who was always with me, is about 5' 0" so we sent her to the bar instead

They said "why were you drinking with a middle aged midget?"
And I said it was part of my community service.

Someone on the train had seen me in The Punter
said 'Excuse me, we haven't met, but why were you spending your Sunday with some ginger prick with a gay dog?'

I said it was part of my community service.
