Whats cooking?
(, Thu 27 Feb 2014, 20:44, Reply)
Micro tomorrow morning, then all weekend from Saturday morning.
Sweet & spicy chicken with noodles. Yourself?

Good stuff
I'm pleased to see you are getting good access still, despiter anything else going on.

We went plain old school and had chicken breasts in breadcrumbs as chicken burgers. Kids fucking loved them and ate the lot, both of them. Practically unheard of to have two empty plates

Mrs Cow is on cooking tomorrow then I'll do a risotto Saturday and a roast Sunday

Good food work. What sort of risotto? I like a chicken, asparagus & goats cheese one.

(, Thu 27 Feb 2014, 20:53, Reply)
I've been doing a chicken and nommy chorizo one
with griddled courgettes and peppers
(, Thu 27 Feb 2014, 20:55, Reply)

I'm planting some seeds on Saturday to try and grow my own

(, Thu 27 Feb 2014, 21:05, Reply)
I've grown them before.
First attempt was shit; leaf mould ruined them. Second attempt; successful.

Plus: flowers to eat. Yum.
(, Thu 27 Feb 2014, 21:11, Reply)
Thats the plan
I've tasked my parents with buying unusual seeds for me to grow

That's a nice thing for retired people to do - they'll love doing that.

I wish they'd help out more with the bloody kids though
Paying a childminder to look after the boy 4 days a week when they live round the corner really gets on your nerves
(, Thu 27 Feb 2014, 21:17, Reply)
Depends on their age & competency.
My ex MIL is 70 and has early stage memory problems - no way is she allowed to look after micro.
(, Thu 27 Feb 2014, 21:20, Reply)
Both going strong and fully competant

(, Thu 27 Feb 2014, 21:24, Reply)
Oh goats cheese
I want some now
