alt: I enjoy being mentally cruel to children, so I am none too happy about this law.
altalt: IT sector seems to be having a bit of a bump at the moment, overall I don't think it will last. Interest rates will have to go up eventually and, though I appreciate the economy is not the housing sector, that'll cause another housing market dip as all those people hanging on by their fingernails are forced to let go.

Either no-one in government has figured out that there'll be no growth driven by consumer spending until people have paid back the debt they already built up spending to keep the economy afloat, or (more likely) they don't give a shit as the problem won't cone home to roost until after the next election and they can blame it on someone else.
