HmmmMy dad is a teacher. He has a large stack of comic books and those "turn to paragraph 34" adventure style books for kids that don't like reading "traditional" books. His philosophy has always been that as long as they're reading, and improving their literacy skills - who cares what they're reading? Your kid's teacher sounds like an idiot.
