Hope Not Hate is an excellent organisation.I did some campaigning work for them at the last general election & council elections in Barking & Dagenham, against the BNP.
Got to meet one of my heroes - Billy Bragg, as a result, which was an added bonus to seeing the BNP lose all 11 council seats they had held in the borough.

I received a hand drawn birthday card from him a couple of years ago - which talked about my daughter being 'half english too'.(she's half Scottish).
