I'm doing alright, getting good grades...It was expected, but the speed and finality was a bit... unexpected. if that makes sense.

Yeah, I had similar, we knew it was on the cards, but were given a fairly long time scale, got all of 3 days. Bit of a shock, made it harder, felt it was unfair.
