yes, note the space between 'tooth' and 'comb'
I have no beef with 'fine-tooth comb', it's where 'toothcomb' is used when my belm reflex kicks in.

I trust this clarifies matters.

I think the issue is that no one says 'fine-toothed' really, the saying is 'fine-tooth'
