i have portable broadband
really bloody expensive but it mostly works. Maybe Ill kidnap someone and demand a discount.

Is it any wonder that normal peaceful people are driven to this sort of thing?
Every time you phone up the technical help desk you seem to get through to someone who knows less about the hardware than you do!
I've found being very persistent and keeping a note of exactly when you spoke to someone especially taking their name, helps. That way you can tell them 'I spoke to you on x, y and z days. You told me each time it would be fixed. I'm still waiting' or whatever.
And of course, being polite even when you feel like ripping someone's head off! As it's not their fault personally - even though they chose to work for that scummy company!
