Bute ParkIs nice for a walk although according to the beeb the outlook for tomorrow overcast so that might not be the best bet for something to do.
Something I never got round to doing when I lived in Cardiff was visiting the castle. I've not been so can't say what it's like but the website is www.cardiffcastle.com/
As far as eating out is concerned my first stop would probably be the Old Brewery Quarter just off of St. Mary's Street as it's got all sorts of restaurants - you're bound to find something you fancy.
Otherwise you could try checking out www.visitcardiff.com/ to see if that helps.
