The bloody news has a lot to answer for.At the end of 1999 when everyone was going on about the end of the world and computers collapsing et al. My 10 year old sister, in all seriousness, asks me on New Years Eve if the world was really going to end. She obviously had picked up snippets here and there and was worried.
