It was not a nice weekend.
Okay, I'll come right out with it: the Lunatic Artist is currently moving out, at my request. I was unable to cope with her bipolar disorder and general moodiness, so she's currently looking for another place to live. Meanwhile there has been a solid week of weeping and packing boxes.
Sorry if I'm a little quiet and not-as-funny, but right now I'm having a very bad time. I'll do my best to be in a better mindset when I arrive over there this weekend, though...

I'll drop all responses here for the moment.
Yes, it was a horribly difficult decision to make. Having someone you love going through bipolar disorder is hard enough- realizing that you can't cope with it is a major heap of guilt that makes you feel like an absolute twat. And asking a mentally ill person to move out of your house and find their own place is just the fucking icing on the shit cake. I feel bloody awful, as they say over there.
At the same time, she's in her forties, an adult who's been around as much as I have. As has been pointed out to me by a lot of friends, she's not my responsibility, and I cannot control whether or not she's happy. I've been extremely patient and supportive for a very long time, so it's not like I didn't give her a fair shot.
Still feels fucking awful, though.
Thank you all for the support- you're a wonderful bunch, and I'm grateful.
I'll be back to my normal vaguely idiotic self soon, I'm sure...
