OK, I'm really annoyedWhy do some people constantly refer to a young animal as a 'baby kitten' or 'baby calf' or 'baby puppy'?
The fact that it's a kitten, calf or puppy automatically suggests that it's a young animal.
Sorry to change the subject, but I've heard this about three times this week and it really grinds me.
