hell yesthis was one of the very first things i learned about alton towers as a kid.
the second was this: you can go every school holiday (if you are lucky and your dad is up for it); you can spend all day on really dangerous rides... but you'll only end up driving across the park in an ambulance when your mate jumps off the seesaw too soon and it flies up and cracks his little brother across the chin. or to put it another way, the seesaw is the most dangerous ride there.

also, my friend fell in love with the seriously gigantic oblivion mugs, but didn't want to carry it round all day (oblivion is at the start)i ordered one as a surprise later on, and the woman who dealt with me had the frankly amazing job title of.... "MANAGER OF CLOUD CUCKOO LAND".
