we had a pound a drink night in a local pubanything and everything a quid. I used to drink all the single malts. The police stopped it because people with a tenner knocking back 10 rum and cokes on a Thursday night was causing trouble. They changed it to £1.50 which is obviously extortionate.

club X in Glasgow used to do £1 long vodkas And seemingly no policy on underage drinking.
