don't be stupid, just buy it an a resealable pot, it's exactly the same. it's what the indians do.

You can't make me.
I use a coffee grinder for my spices but, as I mentioned further down the thread, I rarely bother to make the effort for a curry, so tend to use those jars of spice paste. Always grind fresh when I'm making a chilli, though.
