Edit: While you're there, do NOT think in dollars. Everything is pretty much pound for dollar and it gets depressing when you realise you're spending double what you would here. Especially on beer. Oh, and use your ATM card to get cash, it's way cheaper than using the currency exchange.

Aye, that be good advice, m'lady.
I've already learned to multiply all prices by 2 to get a dollar amount, so I end up feelin' a tad keelhauled after a bit. But as I noted to me mates here, if they rape you slowly enough after a while it starts feeling like sweet lovin'...
