I'm not sure why you think it might go.
Seems to be a small band of regular posters here most days, some busy and some quiet days. No reason to close one part of a site that still has a fair amount of traffic spread across a few boards.

I just get the impression there have been a lot more quiet than busy days of late.
I don't go on /talk, but /QOTW is the deadest of dead horses and even /OT is getting a case of the tumbleweeds.
