Sorry to hear you're in this situation MMPersonally I wouldn't tell his girlfriend as it denies the scumbag the opportunity of doing the right thing and being honest with her.
I'd go with a quiet word with the girl who told you about all of this to determine whether speaking to the bloke about it will put you in too (much more) difficult a position.
