@k2k6The main volume pot was being stupid. Removed it, tried to get a new one, couldn't, so opened it up, and had a poke about an fixed it, then soldered it back in. Now it works the perfectly.
And I still have 2 years of that uni thing left, tightly. I fear getting to the end of it.
