Greetings from a train
Hi,
So far, my move is going a bit bumpily (is there such a word?) There were engineering works on the railway so my train had to take a different route. I took this into account when I bought my tickets. Then, there was a train accident earlier today bringing more chaos to things. To make things worse, when I first had to change trains, the station-staff on the platform mislead me and sent me to the wrong fucking platform and by the time I realised, made a mad dash with my luggage and got to the platform I was originally waiting at just in time to see my train pull away. ARGH! Fortunately, the station-staff were able to pull a few strings and I'm now on a more expensive train at no extra cost. Hopefully, I should still get my Eurostar connection. However, the train seems to be taking a bizarre route, so I'm not sure how late I'll be.
On the plus side, this train's got Wifi, which rocks as much as my new laptop, so you'll have to put up with my wibblings for about an hour or so.
