@Miasma - yes it was his fault, but if they claim on his insurance they will write off the car as it's only worth a few hundred quid. Her parents will then have to purchase the car back from the insurers which has implications on teh cost of insuring it. So it would end up cheaper in the long run to just pay to get it repaired.

His car wasn't damaged and it also was a company car covered by a company insurance policy so it makes no difference to him whether they claim or not. Which makes it all the more frustrating.

Personally I would love to cunt him in the fuck but Mrs al doesn't approve of such things.
