We've got some massive big ones in the server roomThen a (slightly) smaller one in each office which is wired to 13A sockets on the trunking. It's not difficult to understand:
Sockets with no switches = UPS sockets
Sockets with switches = normal electricity
But everyone still plugs coffee machines, kettles, the cleaners plug their hoovers into the UPS sockets. Which the UPS obviously love.
Why would you rummage around behind desks to plug your hoover in when there's a normal socket RIGHT NEXT TO THE FUCKING DOOR?
Still, I suppose if they had any more intelligence they wouldn't be cleaning for a living.
