I too used to be a sales person
Ive sold car insurance, incredibly boring and repetitive
Ive re-sold sky to most of the inbred population of the uk, quite interesting on occasions but only because i like winning arguments (im not totally petty)
I have even sold sheet metal, totally crap
In all of these things ive felt uncomfortable at times but the cherry on top of the cake has to be when i got a position as "Sales Executive" in Sainsburys bank, i had visions of my own branch, at least my own desk but noooooo what i got was a clipboard and free licence to hang around a supermarket all day while building up the confidence to ambush unsuspecting shoppers and ask about such personal subjects as credit card debt and pet insurance ( money really helps when your pet pooch bites the dust)
The worst job in the world ever!!!
Never felt nervous about being approached by a salesperson before, well not until the ann summers incident anyway!!
Maybye im a prude and i didnt even know it!!
