While I never knew anyone who fought in WWIMy grandad flew Wellington Bombers in WWII and a good friend of mine has fought in both Afghanistan and Iraq.
Also, I haven't found a poppy seller this year yet, I seem to have an unfortunate ability to avoid them! I'll have to have a walk down the high road at lunchtime and see if I can find one.
