I was honing my tracking/stalking skills a couple of weeks back.
and got within about 20 yards of 3 roe deer.
Something spooked them from the other side of the field and they ran towards me.
They ran straight past and all of them tried to leap a fence. Two of them cleared it but the other got his head stuck in the barbed wire.
I instinctively went to dive on it and just as I got there it freed itself, bumped into me whilst letting out a gruff bleat and bounded off.

I'm not sure what I was thinking at the time and don't know whether I was going to throttle it or free it, all a blur 'twas.
