I just played Careless Whisper at 45rpm
sounds really, really good. the only one which sounds good at a different speed is the 45 of Space Cowboy which sounds better at 33rpm

I was thinking of recording it for you all, but I can't work out how to get a record into my laptop.

Anyone else like playing records at different speeds.

I found my friend's collection of gay 80s disco at a house party when I was wrecked
And proceeded to play a gabba set with everything at 45 +12%

Worked pretty well.

I used to play jungle 12" at 33rpm cos I loved the hip-hop feel. Whaddyaknow, there's a whole genre that sounds like that now!
