Although the Malvern Hills are worth a visitAlso, there's a stone circle on the Shropshire border towards Wales, that I used to drive to lots. Can't remember the name just now, but it's a really atmospheric location, totally isolated and otherworldly, with jaw-dropping views over a massive valley to distant mountains in Wales. Check out www.themodernantiquarian.com for loads of off-beat ancient sites, if you dig that sort of thing. Erm.. as I suspect a lot of b3ta-types don't.
