Cambridge is awesome itself..blag yourself into the college bars by befriending students and get £1.50 pints after a day taking in so much awesome architecture in such a small space. You can also attend lectures just by walking in - they'll rarely check your student credentials. This worked with language and english lectures five years ago anyway.
