I think I'd have to with chemistry though as I'd never be able to afford a lot of the equipment required for practical stuffs. Actually I wonder if you can achieve much in chemistry using just theory like you can in physics. I guess most work is done that way with the practical experiments conducted afterwards to prove the theories correct.
My mind is in overdrive at the moment. I'm going to lurk until I feel like I can post without making myself feel silly.
