about the flaming and stuff
I am admittedly a bit new to the world of t'internet, and not a big fan of chat-rooms, facebook etc., but I like b3ta cos it's funny, helpful, and "clever" and b3tans are very quick witted, some threads have me phoning friends to pass on the latest installments.

I loosely followed the flaming and pettyness last week and just got a bit bored.

Just ignore all the crap. Don't rise to the bait.

If "dickwad a" insults "person b", then "person b" can rapidly make themselves look very silly and become "dickwad b" after about two posts.

This is the internet, it's not really real.

In real life, I am a pretty* big bloke that not many people would insult to my face, so I dont get too upset if someone "threatens" me via the web. I just think it's a bit sad.

EDIT. "pretty" as in "quite", not good looking
