Adventures in renting
The Lunatic Artist currently lives downtown in an apartment on the top floor of her building. It's a rather old building, with what might be charitably referred to as "character" or "quirks", but might be more accurately called "major problems".

Just before she moved in they painted the place, including the ceilings. Not long after we had a bad storm, and an area of her kitchen ceiling bulged with water, forming a bubble about two feet across. She punctured the new paint as it stretched like a balloon, draining it like a blister. This left an area where the paint still sags like some obscene udder with some large holes in it.

They still haven't fixed it, and she's getting tired of looking at it.

So the next time I'm over there I'm going to try to install a picture of Ceiling Cat's face in it. Pics may follow...

Yes, it is quite nice.
Actually, I like it a lot as well- it's just that the landlord needs to do some SERIOUS work to it, soon. The windows and such should not be in the condition they're in. And the bit with the ceiling was more than a little upsetting.

Maybe I should see if I can find a cat mask to put in there, or (once it's fixed) to attach to the ceiling in that spot...

what State is it? I am quite knowledgable in this field due to my prior job, still have access to certain stuff.
It should have been fixed by now, by law.

Use
the 3D origami ceiling cat, print it out on A0 paper and it would amazing! Think a b3tan made it but can't remember the url sorry.

It's raining...
and the roof is not leaking - so it's fixed. Just the paint job is not done, and it's growing on me (no pun intended). My new - and I say NEW - oven is sitting in the doorway, to be put in today. I'd say my landlord is not so bad, just a bit off center. Everything is coming together nicely, I think.
