YeahA different logical partition on the same physical disk will appear the same as a different hard drive in software...

@ K2 - yeah I know, XP SP2+ is possibly my favourite OS ever, but I feel I need to move with the times; it's nearly 8 years old and I'm not getting the best out of my newest hardware, and there are a few features in 7 I've been crying out for for years, so I'm gonna try not to be my usual stick in the mud self!
Agreed on Vista, but from what I've seen of 7 so far it is a HUGE improvement.
(I also hate OSX although not quite as much as Vista, although I wouldn't class myself as a 'PC user' or 'Mac user', I have both and use whichever is appropriate for the job)
