The iBook G4 has a design fault on the logic board which causes it to fail.

I think in Denmark a class action lawsuit was successful against Apple (under whatever their version of the sale of goods act is), but they've refused to admit the design flaw in any other country. I know loads of people who've had the same problem. Google it, there's shitloads of websites and petitions and things.

Gotta love em, shiny but substandard hardware for ludicrous prices!
