On a tangent, I know a reasonably well-known stuntman whose speciality is falling off/jumping off things, and apparently falling down stairs is one of the most dangerous stunts you can do, because of all the sharp edges and the fact you can't wear any/much protective gear because it's usually a close shot.

He said he'd rather jump off a 300' cliff than have to fall down a flight of stairs!
