I'm no fan of theirs either
There's a Bertrand Russell quote that goes something like 'Anyone who wants to be in the police should automatically be excluded from joining' (I think I've murdered his succinct phrasing, but you get the idea)

I heard a story last night about a guy who went to school with my sister, the police nicked him for under half a gram of coke by knocking on his girlfriend's door (she's 17 and innocent, and lives with her parents), and making her phone him and get him to come home without saying why, then laid in wait and nicked him when he got back (and yep, they're charging him for the half gram, bastards). How fucking shady is that? Are they even allowed to do that? I'd refuse to make the call if I was her, or just tell him on the phone that the fuzz were there, I don't think they'd legally be able to do anything to you for that. Except of course that they're the police, and they can do what they want because they're the police, which is how the law actually works.
