The country is becoming more and more of a police state, it's scaryTake ASBOs for example. The police can award ASBOs as they see fit, for whatever reason they make up. If you break the terms of the ASBO, you receive a criminal record.
So the police are able to act as judge, jury and executioner, and give you a criminal conviction on their own without resorting to our famous 'justice is blind' legal system at all. Which can't be right can it?
