I would rathersee QOTW separated from Off Topic. They have very little in common.
Also, there's always been shit in QOTW. Has there really been a quantifiable rise in it? Where's the evidence for this? How is it unrelated to that week's topic, for example? And one way of reducing shit on QOTW is to be mean to the people who post it...
