while it seems that every time I mention heat
you folks in the currently freezing UK seem to hate me for doing so - I would just like to say that at the moment - I would love to swap places with you. Seriously and honestly and truly.
it is 42.9 degrees celcius.
It has BEEN 38 degrees + for the last four days in a row. It is going to CONTINUE to be like this for the next week.

I feel like the wicked witch of the west... "I'm meeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeelting!"
Aside from stripping completely nekkid there is no respite :(
Since my family are home - I cannot even do that.

Someone kidnap me to the UK. Like noowwwww.

It's lashing it down here today
but I'd take that over 40+ degree heat any day.

Give me a nice, toasty 30 degrees max.

I don't really feel the cold, so I don't mind winter other than the symptoms of SAD I can't shake.

Bring on the Spring!

When I'm elected prime minister
I'm going to have the British isles towed 1500 miles southwest every October and then towed back again every March....

Hmm.
You're welcome to it. No more than twenty celcian degrees is my preference.

Yesterday
Here in Adelaide the temperature reached 45.7 degrees, the hottest day in 70 years...

Today the forecast is 44, and it's expected to be at least 40 for 4 more days.

Apparently if it hits 40 on Tuesday it'll be a world record for the most consecutive days at or above 40 degrees.

I'd kill for some rain...
