Listen, I'm not on here very much any more for two good reasons.One is that it is shit, and the other is the impending closure of this board.
Now I'm prepared to accept you into my fan club over on /talk in time, but what we must firstly get out of the way is the GLORY of /QOTW.
What's good about /QOTW, and in particularly 'off topic'?
Why do you post here, and not on a better board?

Honestly?Things are more controlled here. Conversations are easier to follow, many can go on at once without things going too fast, and you can leave for a bit and come back. Not that I don't like talk, but it seems harder to engage in more than one topic at once, and people seem to post a lot faster.

TurnipsMost of the time /talk isn't that fast-moving, you're right, but it can be difficult keeping track of three or more sets of replies you're posting to different people.

Nope. Its not a fact of not reading fast enoughI just prefer the fact that on here conversations tend to be broken down more, so that you can focus on each one. Talk is good, yes, but I also like being able to dip in and out of more than one main conversation at once. I guess it's just that I prefer the structured element a bit more

To answer your question, I don't post on /Talk for the reasons already mentioned - I'm a bit of a spaz and find it a bit hard to follow. I also like reading /QOTW because sometimes you get some gems on there. I'm more of a "reply" person than a posting stories person, though.
