No sick pay is harsh
I get 10 paid days a year or something, as well as my holidays.

Naturally I treat the 10 paid sick days as an extension to my holiday time when I run out, fuck taking unpaid leave!

This has been commented on by my boss quite a few times in the past...

Edit: @ K2, yep, definitely. They're even good enough for use on stage these days, barring really narrow spot beams.

There's even some LED streetlights being tested in my town. I can't see why all the streetlights in the UK haven't been replaced with them already, they are actually better than the sodium ones. The reason is capital I suspect, but surely they'll pay for themselves pretty quickly!
