SamI always tried to steer clear of the drunk Welsh people in Cardiff city centre when a match was on. The only friendly English/Welsh banter I ever had when I lived there was between me and people I knew or people I'd met while out that weren't off their trolley at the time of meeting.
I've never met a Welshman on match day, in Cardiff, that was anywhere near sober enough to be described as wankered.
