VAbsolutely no idea! Despite being a geek I don't really use Linux, I have Ubuntu installed on an old machine to piss around with but it involved far too much fiddling around with for my liking... I like my computers to just work.
I can't remember the name of the Windows .ogg encoder I've used, but tbh I couldn't hear any benefits over ripping to mp3 with CDex set up properly.
