According to their websiteThey've developed it for leisure as they don't think jetpacks are practical at all. Seems like they're hoping to sell them to people to offer rentals in the same sort of way you'd go water skiing or rent a jet ski. Apparently you can learn how to use it in a few minutes.
Personally I think they're on to something. I'd definitely pay good money to have a go - it looks amazingly fun.
